Executive functioning, a set of skills critical to managing day to day tasks and challenges, support student academic performance, organization, and overall well-being. Executive functioning skills provide essential building blocks for cognitive development and resilience. During this webinar, Mark Bertin, MD, a developmental pediatrician, will engage in conversation with The Windward School’s Associate Head of School, Jon Rosenshine. They will discuss the fundamental characteristics of executive functioning and its influence on resilience. Their conversation will focus on how educators and parents should consider and foster executive functioning during a time of uncertainty, especially during the current pandemic.
