NEW Curated Book List

Few experiences compare to watching a child connect with a book, but finding good suggestions can be daunting! We are excited to announce a new, free resource to help parents, grandparents, caregivers, and educators choose great titles for children – the Haskins Global Literacy Hub Curated Book List, located under the ‘Resources’ tab on our website.

Our team of experts selected titles that are fun, engaging, appropriate, and diverse (in style, subject, and authorship). We hope that you will discover books that will start a child on their journey to a love of reading. The list is organized by different developmental stages of reading and spans titles from infancy to adolescence.

In addition, we wanted to include books that are widely accessible in public libraries. By clicking on the book covers, the link will direct you to the corresponding WorldCat page, which connects you to the collections and services of more than 10,000 libraries worldwide. All you need to do is enter your postal or zip code and see where the book you want is available near you.

We will continue to grow the number of books by adding links from trusted partners. In the meantime, we hope you find our Curated Book List to be a helpful resource and a great way to begin a lifelong love of reading with a child in your life.

Enjoy!
